Faced with 10 uniquely challenging missions, you'll be fighting alien creatures from dawn until dusk, in forests, farms, cities and many other locales. You can upgrade your hero, equipment and weapons at the inventory shop before you start each alien annihilation! So pick up your gun and get to it!

» Theseus: Return of the Hero Reviews

• Alien Shooter is one of my great favorites, because of it's great addictive gameplay and fast-paced action. Theseus shows us a great improvement over Alien Shooter: landscape versatility; you fight from forests to dead cities and mesas.
• The graphics is very good, with day, night and rain efects, but could have been better (they're probably keeping that for Alien Shooter 2).
• The soundtrack was very well chosen and changes as you fight your enemies. It is pity it repeats a lot.
• The gameplay is mostly the same of Alien Shooter. This time you save people from doom. Also I've noticed that you are harder to kill, but have less weapons (only 6) than in Alien Shooter.
• Overall this is a good game, however I recommend you keep your money and wait for Alien Shooter 2, a game that is way above this one.

Did you know that...

Theseus was a legendary king of Athens, son of Aegeus (or of Poseidon) and of Aethra. Theseus was a founder-hero, like Perseus, Cadmus or Heracles, all of whom battled and overcame foes that were identified with an archaic religious and social order. As Heracles was the Dorian hero, Theseus was the Ionian founding hero, considered by Athenians as their own great reformer. His name comes from the same root as "thesmos", Greek for institution.
