A new rumor suggests that Microsoft is working on Xbox Surface, a new tablet for games of 7 inches, similar in size to the iPad Mini.
This information has been published by The Verge who claims to have sources close to Microsoft and is familiar with its development plans. If true, include an ARM processor and a RAM designed specifically for gaming, but these specifications may be altered ahead of its launch.
The device would not work with a full version of Windows, because instead would use a modified version of Windows kernel. Despite that include messaging services and other functions from the tablets, Xbox Surface would be developed exclusively to focus on video games.
From this moment it is still rumors, so will have to wait for Microsoft to rule on the matter.
